Hot Profiler: field work

The system was first deployed in Puget Sound in March 2010, and again in the ocean (4700 m depth) in June from Kilo Moana.  The system did not work on its first deep-water deployment, and so we recovered and redeployed the system in October.  This time unfortunately one of the three battery spheres imploded, draining the other two spheres immediately.  We tested the entire system in Honolulu from the dock at Snug Harbor, before redeploying the full system in January 2012.
