We are preparing to deploy the troublesome HOT profiler mooring, intended to enable year-long, hourly, full-depth profiles of ocean velocity, temperature, salinity and oxygen by inductively recharging a moored profiler.  This ambitious project has given us no end of problems but we hope to prevail this time.  Follow our blog.
